A Night Out at Dinner
Welcome to our site! BoilingSilver is the design of Marc and Cris Hunt, a couple of 25-year-olds from Marietta, GA. We both love the Lord and wanted to take an opportunity to share what the Lord is doing in our lives with all of you out there.
We met in 2001 when we were in youth group in Greensboro, GA. We began dating in college, and both went the University of Georgia. At UGA, we became involved in the Wesley Foundation and grew in our love for the Lord. Cris received a degree in Journalism with a focus in Magazines and Marc received a Business degree in Management Information Systems.
After college, we both moved to Atlanta to begin our careers. Cris worked for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, fundraising for the Aflac Cancer Center. Marc began working for PricewaterhouseCoopers as an IT auditor. After a couple of years at those jobs, we both moved on to new things.
Our Wedding
We were married on May 5, 2007 at our home church in Greensboro, GA.
Cris now works as the Director of Programs for kidz2leaders inc., a ministry that works with kids in the Metro-Atlanta area who have at least one parent in prison. Cris helps plan special events for the the kids throughout the year, including Camp Hope, a week long camp each summer that allows the kids to get away from their daily lives and have fun learning about the Lord.
Marc works for Chick-fil-A’s corporate office as a Business Analyst and is also working on a Masters of Arts in Christian Ministries with a focus in Servant Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Our First Home
We recently purchased our first home in Marietta, GA. After two years in Atlanta-area apartments, we took the plunge and invested in our first home. We love it and look forward to spending years in our home and making many memories there.
We are members at St. Philip United Methodist Church, located in West Cobb. We love being a part of the smaller community of the church and have a true love for the kids that are a part of the church.
